“The Professional Connection for Women”
Women in Leisure Services (WILS) is a national organization for professional women involved in the delivery of leisure and community services in private, commercial and municipal settings. A network of chapters serves administrators, supervisors, educators, therapists, and armed forces professionals in defined geographic areas throughout the country.
Zeta means “Way of Life.” Zeta Chapter was chartered in 1970 and serves the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Meetings are held monthly (September-May) and include both educational and social programs. Day and evening meetings are scheduled.
Our Main Objectives are:
- To provide a forum for women in leisure and community services to exchange ideas and enrich their professional skills.
- To develop training programs specifically relating to professional and personal development.
- To provide a support system for the recognition and advancement of the members of the organization.
- To foster friendships, self enrichment and networking for professional assistance.
